Rebecca is the founding Director of Creative Road. She has more than two decades of creative industry experience across public art,cultural tourism, community consultation, placemaking and activation for urban renewal. She has led public art programs and provided expert advice to major Australian projects including Central Station Metro, Melbourne Airport, Nepean Hospital and the Parramatta Road Urban Amenity Improvement Program. Rebecca is a skilled curator and project manager adept at working in large design teams on complex projects. Her expertise includes designing meaningful engagement processes for stakeholders and communities involved in the public art commissioning process.

Bronwen is an experienced public art curator and cultural strategist. She is the former Director of Urban Art for Melbourne Docklands Authority, where she managed a $50m budget and oversaw 35 large scale public art commissions. Bronwen’s stakeholder management is a key aspect of her skills and central to a successful project. Her curatorial experience includes site specific research and producing cultural and heritage frameworks to which artists respond. Bronwen’s interest is in public art being integrated with and responding to its environment, as an important part of place creation.

As a registered Landscape Architect, Darren brings significant expertise in overseeing complex public art technical requirements. Darren works with our team to create public art solutions, working with the character of a project site, and responding to the functional, social and recreational requirements of people. He recognises that the delivery of public artworks into ‘built reality’ relies on close attention to technical detail, cost benefit considerations and well managed resources. His experience includes artwork installation management for the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games and documentation of North Sydney Council’s Public Art Masterplan.

Zoe is an experienced public art curator and project manager, with broad knowledge of contemporary Australian and international public art practice. Working closely with our clients and artists, Zoe skilfully implements a wide range of public art strategies and commissions. Committed to engaging artists in meaningful ways, Zoe fosters positive relationships with emerging artists through to those who are world renowned. She is passionate about collaborating with clients and design teams to realise ambitious projects.

Natalie has extensive experience in public art project management, cultural development and curatorial practice. Her focus at Creative Road is in preparing and delivering public art strategies for private and government clients, including artist research, community consultation and public art project development. Natalie is committed to advocacy for artists and providing platforms for artists to present permanent works which enhance our cultural landscape.
