Hiromi Tango

Hiromi Tango is a Japanese-Australian artist whose work spans sculpture, drawings, photography, installation and performance, encompassing both permanent public art and temporal projects. Dedicated to generating healing conversations through arts engagement, her practice responds to an age in which human relationships are being eclipsed by the globalisation and virtualisation of communication.

Hiromi’s works have been exhibited at major national institutions, including the Museum of Contemporary Art (Sydney), the Ian Potter Museum (Melbourne), the Art Gallery of South Australia (Adelaide), the Art Gallery of New South Wales (Sydney), and Queensland Art Gallery / Gallery Of Modern Art (Brisbane). Her works have been featured at international exhibitions including Singapore Art Museum, la Maison Folie and Art Brussels (Belgium), Art Basel, Hong Kong, Art Dubai, Art Jog (Indonesia), and Singapore Art Stage.
